The community of Fallon, 9 miles east of Terry, is situated along the Yellowstone River Valley. Along the Frontage Road, once part of Old Highway 10 just outside Fallon, is a well-maintained boat ramp with public access to the Yellowstone River for fishermen, kayaks, and canoes. Experienced river enthusiasts with small watercraft can also put in along the Powder River underneath the railroad bridge west of Terry.
